Ashley Young
Finance Director
Ashley has been Head of Finance at Validus Risk Management for the past eight years. She reports directly to the CEO and board, serving as an advisor to the CEO, board and leadership team on all financial and operational matters. She is responsible for all financial statements for three jurisdictions globally (consisting of five entities) and has management responsibility for Validus’s corporate support team, consisting of finance, operations and compliance, working across the company’s global offices. She also heads up the negotiations on all Validus’s office lease negotiations, building management agreements, corporate insurance agreements and NDAs. Ashley is ACCA qualified and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management and Finance.
